According to the June RV Industry Association’s June 2021 survey of manufacturers, total RV shipments ended the month with 50,706 units, an increase of 25.3% compared to the 40,462 units shipped during June 2020. June 2021 was also the best on comparable record showing an increase of 7% when compared to the 47,416 shipments in June 2017.
The RV industry has a set a shipment record in each of the last four quarters with the 2nd quarter of 2021 setting an all time high for any quarter at 151,760 shipments. This is a 2% increase over the previous record set in the 1st quarter of 2021.
Led by conventional travel trailers, Towable RVs ended the month up 22% against last June with 45,689 wholesale shipments. Motorhomes finished the month up 66% compared to the same month last year with 5,017 units.
